Install the free X Reality companion app on your iPhone or Android. It takes about two minutes and no technical knowledge required.
The app is your control center — manage your filter settings, update your X account connection, and adjust what you see, all from your phone.
Connect your X account
Log in with your X account inside the app. X Reality reads your following list — the people you've chosen to follow — and that becomes your filter.
Your following list is private. X Reality never posts on your behalf, never reads your DMs, and never shares your data. You're in full control.
Put on the glasses
Wear X Reality Glasses like any pair of sunglasses. The AR layer activates automatically. Step outside and see the difference.
People you follow on X appear normally in your vision. Everyone else fades into a soft blur — still visible enough to navigate safely, but no longer demanding your attention.
